Lincoln coach Will Lynde would have his team play everyday if possible. After running over Otterville, 16-1 on Thursday at home, they destroyed Sweet Spring 21-0 on Friday on the road.

On Saturday, they played in the Cole Camp Classic and faced the undefeated and number one ranked Class 1 team in the state in Iberia.

Facing their number three pitcher in the rotation, Noah Rimesnider, Lincoln only managed 1 hit in the 10-0 drubbing on a single by Riley Sanders in the first. The right hander struck out 12 and walked none. Things were not much better on the defensive side as the Cards committed 8 errors.

Cam Everhart took the loss on the mound for the Cardinals.

In the afternoon contest of the two game invitational, Riley Sanders shut down Crest Ridge and Ethan Goosen made the greatest catch of his young high school career in right field in the 5-0 win.

The Cardinals scored all 5 of their runs in the fourth, thanks in part to a 2-run single by Dawson Parrott.

Sanders allowed 3 hits struck out 6 and walked 2. He threw 51 strikes on 81 pitches.

Lincoln moved to 8-6 on the season.
