In the last week, the Wildcats reached a double-digit win total for the fifth consecutive season with wins at Butler (last Tuesday) and Sherwood (last Wednesday).

Their lone loss over the current stretch came at home on Thursday when they were trumped by Lafayette County.

The 'Cats record now stands at 12-3 for the 2024 season.

At Butler, Josh Bunch continued his stellar junior season as he rang up 10 strikeouts in Warsaw's 5-1 over the Bears. He allowed just 1 run on 3 hits over the 7 inning complete game.

The Wildcats led 2-1 thru 3 but a 3-run fourth frame provided all the insurance Bunch would need for the 5-1 victory.

Jayce Depriest had 2 hits to pace the Warsaw offense.
