Arrrr! Pirates And Mermaids Brings Thrills And Adventure

Warsaw City Pool lifeguards Cash Miller and Rylee Pals created a magical evening for children as they appeared as a pirate and a mermaid for local children.  The Warsaw Park and Recreation Department presented an evening of Pirates and Mermaids on Saturday night at the Warsaw City Pool.
“This is a wonderful way to enjoy our great pool,” said Warsaw resident Lyla Weaver.  Lyla’s grandchildren enjoyed the evening swimming.
Warsaw Pool Manager Austin McCall was excited about the turn out to this annual event.  “We entertained 110 children, which is our largest turnout yet for the Mermaids and Pirates event.”
The Warsaw Municipal Pool is open daily from noon until seven, Sundays noon to five, throughout the summer.  Cost of admission is $4 per person.  Twilight admission is $2 after 4 PM.

The pool isn’t just for kids.  Water Aerobics classes are available in the morning as well as lap swimming.
Warsaw’s Municipal Pool offers summertime fun. Swimmers can play basketball while staying nice and cool, take a dive or two off the diving board, or take a fast ride down the water slide. The pool also offers a wading area with a zero depth entry, lap area, as well as a concession stand.
Be watching for information on the Back to School Bash to be held at the pool.  School will resume on August 14 so the pool will be closed during the week but will remain open on Saturday and Sunday until Labor Day.
