Cole Camp is the place to be to start Christmas shopping on Saturday, November 23, as they host their 32nd annual Christbaumfest Craft Show. The one-day show will showcase over 50 crafters in the Jaycee Hall and the Lutheran School gym from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Numerous new crafters will be joining the show this year with various new crafts.
“We are so excited about having a very good show,” said craft show coordinator Marilyn Heimsoth.  “All the new crafters will give shoppers a wide variety of things to choose from.”
The Cole Camp Chamber of Commerce will serve lunch in the Lutheran School cafeteria with a menu of homemade noodles/chicken, chicken salad on croissant, chili, chili dogs, hot dogs, nachos, a large selection of homemade pies, and beverages.
Santa will make an appearance and will pose for pictures with children from 2-3:30 p.m. in the gymnasium.  Parents and grandparents are encouraged to bring their cameras to get pictures of their children with Santa.
The Chamber of Commerce’s 2019 collectible ornament will be for sale, which features Cash’s Thriftway--commemorating the 50 years of service that Cash’s grocery store provided to this community. A limited supply of ornaments from previous years will also be available.
“You will be able to purchase the Cole Camp ornament at the show or at the Citizens Farmers Bank of Cole Camp or the Cole Camp Museum,” said Heimsoth.
Cole Camp’s antique and specialty shops and restaurants will be having their Holiday Open House. Saturday will be a great day to be in Cole Camp to take in all the festivities and specials in the various shops.
Partial funding for this project was received from the Benton County Tourism Commission.
Another Chamber of Commerce Christmas event at Cole Camp will be the Christkindlemarkt on December 6 from 6 PM to 8 PM.  The Cole Camp stores will be open with carolers in the street.
