From March 26, 2018 to April 1, 2018 Cole Camp Police Officers have done the following activities:
-Officers received a dog running at large complaint in the 700 block of South Spring Street.  Officers located the dog owner and issued the owner a citation for allowing the dog to run at large.  
-Responded to the 200 block of West Main Street for an alarm.  No emergency was found.
-Responded to the 500 block of West Main Street for subject loitering on the property.  Subject was contacted and advised to leave.
-Responded to the 500 block of West Main Street for an alarm.
-Assisted the Cole Camp Ambulance with a medical call in the 400 block of West Osage St.
-Received a complaint of another phone scam coming from a local phone number this time.  The scam is not believed to be a local person, just the phone number used.
-Received information regarding a trespass warning.  Extra patrols have been conducted to ensure the subject does not trespass.
-Received a complaint of a subject attempting to get into a vehicle in the 100 block of South Elm Street.  The subject was located and believed to be confused.
-Received a complaint of a vehicle door left open and a possible item removed from the vehicle on North Ash Street.  This case is under investigation.
-Officers issued citations for the following, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to register motor vehicle, displaying invalid license plates on a motor vehicle, exceeding the posted speed limit.
I have received several reports of various phone scams going on in the area.  Please be aware of this activity.  If you did not sign up for, call to receive, or agree to do business with, then it probably is not true.  The IRS will not call you.  You should not have to send money to receive your winnings you did not sign up for or enter into.
