Cole Camp Police Chief
From June 25, 2018 to July 1, 2018 Cole Camp Police Officers have done the following activities:
-Officers arrested a subject with an active warrant for their arrest in the 200 block of South Hickory Street.
-Officers stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of South Spring Street for a defective break light.  Upon further investigation, officers determined a passenger in the vehicle had an active warrant for their arrest out of Pettis County for assault.  Officers received consent from the driver to search the vehicle.  Upon search of the vehicle, officers located marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle.  Search of the vehicle also resulted an illegal weapon being located.  Charges are pending as this investigation is ongoing.
-Citations were issued for exceeding the posted speed limit, failure to maintain financial responsibility, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
-Responded to the 400 block of West Ferguson reference a phone scam.
-Relayed a subject with an active warrant out of Cole Camp from the Morgan County Jail to the Benton County Jail.
-Assisted Missouri State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop on Highway 65 near Highway 52.
-Responded mutual aid to a motor vehicle crash on Highway 52 near Highway 65.
-Responded mutual aid to the area of Brockman Avenue and Highway 52 for a child locked in a vehicle.  Entry was gained into the vehicle prior to law enforcement arriving on scene.  The child appeared to be okay.
-Responded to the 200 block of West Main Street reference suspicious activity.
-Responded to a 911 hang up in the 500 block of South Keeney.
-Responded to the 400 block of West Osage Street for a well-being check.
