Cole Camp Police Report

Cole Camp Police Chief
From July 30, 2018 to August 5, 2018 Cole Camp Police Officers have done the following activities:
-Responded to the 200 block of East Butterfield Trail for a report of a theft.
-Responded to the area of Bluebird and Spring Street for a suspicious vehicle.
-Issued citations for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended driver’s license, exceeding the posted speed limit, possession of marijuana, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia,
-Responded to the 700 block of West Man Street for a reported assault with a weapon which occurred in Morgan County.  
-Received a theft report from the 200 block of East Butterfield Trail.
-Responded to the 100 block of West Butterfield Trail for an ongoing theft investigation.
-Responded to the 700 block of South Elm Street for a dog bite.
-Responded to the 300 block of West Short for an assault.
-Responded to an alarm in the 100 block of West Junge Street.
-Responded to a report of a disturbance in the 500 block of West Main Street.  This call was unfound.
-Responded to the 100 block of South Maple for a 911 hang-up.  No emergency was located.
-Officers received information of suspicious activity, possible drug use in the 500 block of East Jefferson.  Officers responded to the address and upon arrival, could smell a strong odor of burnt marijuana.  Upon further investigation, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized from the residence.  One person was cited for the marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
