Cole Camp Police Chief
From June 24, 2019 to June 30, 2019 Cole Camp Police Officers have done the following activities:
-Officers responded to the 500 block of East Valley Street for a stolen vehicle.
-Assisted Cole Camp Ambulance with a medical call in the 500 block of North Oak Street.
-Responded to the 200 block of West Grother Street for a dog at large complaint.  The dog owner was cited for possession of a vicious dog within city limits after subject was bitten by the dog.
-Responded to the 400 block of North Pine Street for a trespass complaint.
-Received multiple complaints of various phone scams.
-Officers responded to a car vs. pedestrian accident in the 400 S. Spring Street.
-Officers responded to an alarm in the 500 block of West Main Street.
-Officers responded to a burglary in the 100 block of West Butterfield Trail.
-Officers with the Cole Camp Police Department and the Pettis County Sheriff’s Office recovered a vehicle stolen from the 400 block of South Spring Street in Cole Camp after receiving a tip from a citizen.  The tip led officers to a field south of Maltsberger Road and U.S. Highway 65 in Pettis County.  Officers on scene verified and confirmed the vehicle was in fact stolen from Cole Camp June 10.  Officers seized the vehicle and the investigation is ongoing.
Cole Camp Police Chief Stephen Phillips encourages citizens to lock your vehicles when parked.  
Officers are still looking for a black Chevy Silverado extended cab pickup taken from the 500 block of East Valley.  They are also investigating a vehicle taken from the 500 block of East Main Street which was later recovered on W Highway East of Cole Camp.  
Anyone with information regarding either of these stolen vehicles or any other crime are asked to contact the Cole Camp Police Department.
