Commission Seeks Jail Construction Mgmt. Agency

Benton County District 2 Commissioner Jim Hansen made a motion to advertise for RFQ’s in order to hire a construction management agency for the jail project at the April 10 meeting of the County Commission.  The motion passed.
County legal counsel Travis Eliott will draft the RFQ documents.
In other business Commissioner Hansen spoke with Shafter, Kline and Warren representative Dustin Berry to discuss moving forward with obtaining soft match credit in the Fort Lyon Avenue BRO bridge project.
Commissioner Hansen made a motion to renew membership in the Kaysinger Basin Regional Planning Commission.  The motion passed.  Annual membership cost is $2,604.16.     
Commissioner Hansen also made a motion to appoint Presiding Commissioner Michelle McLerran Kreisler to act as county representative on the Board of Directors of Kaysinger Basin Regional Planning Commission.  The motion passed.
County Clerk Susan Porterfield submitted bills for approval and payment.
