Don E. Bistline, age 90, of Lincoln, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at his home.  He was born on September 15, 1930 in Edmonson, Missouri the son of Arthur and Opal (Sumners) Bistline.  He grew up on a farm near Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1949.  He went on to serve in the United States Army from 1952 until 1954.  He was stationed in Baumholder, Germany during the Korean Conflict.
On October 20, 1951 he was united in marriage to Mary Louese Jackson.  Unto this union three children were born.  They made their home in the Kansas City area where Don worked at the Ford Motor Plant.  In 1968 they moved to Lincoln where Don worked for the Benton County Road District for 28 years.  He also farmed raising livestock.  Don was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lincoln, Missouri.
Don is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers; his twin, Dean Bistline, Leo Bistline and Woodrow Bistline.
He is survived by his wife Louese, of the home, three children; Karen Nash, and her husband Martin, of Olathe, Kansas, Donnita Mohr, and her husband Richard, of Kearney, Missouri and Russell Bistline, and his wife Jana, of Warrensburg, Missouri, five grandchildren; Aspen, Jackson and his wife Jo, Dawson, Alex and Jordan and one great grandchild on the way.
Funeral services for Don E. Bistline will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, January 8, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Lincoln.  Due to COVID, masks and social distancing will be required.  Interment and Military Rites will follow the funeral at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.  Friends are welcome to view and sign the guestbook on Thursday, January 7th from 9:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln, Missouri.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lincoln.
