FFA Youth Fair Showcases Skills, Effort

Benton County 4-H and FFA members will be gathering in Lincoln this week for the annual Benton County 4-H and FFA Youth Fair.
On Thursday, July 5, 4-H and FFA members will check in their projects at the Benton County Youth Fair building in Lincoln from noon until 7 PM.  The 4-H FFA Horse Show will begin at 5:30.  Interviews for Royalty and Fashion Review will begin at 7 PM.
On Friday, July 6, The Chicken BBQ contest begins at 9 AM as well as demonstrations by 4-H members.  The Swine show will begin at 10.  The Dairy Cattle show will begin at 1 PM followed by the Dog Show.  Next will be the Pet Show followed by the Rabbit Show.  The Poultry show will follow the Rabbit Show.
Coronation of 4-H FFA Royalty will be at 6 PM followed by the results of the Fashion Revue.  The Ice Cream and Chocolate Cake contests will begin after the Fashion Revue.
On Saturday, July 7, The Dairy Goat Show will begin at 8:30 AM followed by the Meat Goat Show.  Next will be the Sheep Show followed by the Bucket Calf Show then the Beef Show. 
The Livestock Sale and Dinner will begin at 4:30.
The public is welcome to come by the Lincoln 4-H/FFA Building on Park Street to view the 4-H and FFA members work.  All shows are free.
