Glen M. Harpham

Glen M. Harpham, passed away at the age of 92, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on February 13, 2018. He was born in Houstonia Missouri, on September 17, 1925, the son of Roscoe M. and Grace B. (Raymer) Harpham.
Glen attended Cross Timbers High School and was inducted into the United States Army before completing high school. He served in Guadalcanal during World War II, and was honorably discharged. He received an honorary diploma from Weaubleau High School on May 21, 2004.
On August 17, 1947, he was united in marriage to Claudine Keltner at Camdenton, MO. Glen and Claudine had four children, Pauletta, Janet, David and Mark. They made their home in Edwards, MO where Glen worked as a carpenter and farmer. In his later years, he worked for the Corp of Engineers in the maintenance department.
Glen attended Fristoe Cowboy Church and enjoyed being a part of their congregation. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Cross Timbers, MO, and begun the Climax Springs Saddle Club many years ago. He served 12 years on the Warsaw R-9 Board of Education and was a member of the REA Nominating Board for 49 years. Glen was a family man and enjoyed time spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Claudine, on November 22, 2011, two brothers, Charles Lee Harpham and Dean Harpham and one sister, Ruth Vail. 
Glen is survived by two sons, David Harpham of Conway, MO, Mark Harpham of Odessa, MO, two daughters, Pauletta Berry of Columbia, MO and Janet Adams of Edwards, MO, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO with family visitation from 6 to 8 P.M., Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will be in the Climax Springs Cemetery, Climax Springs, MO. Memorials may be made to the Climax Springs Cemetery Fund.
