Hawthorn Bank Market President Chuck Allcorn recently announced that the downtown branch of the Warsaw bank will be changing their hours of operation starting on Monday, June 18.  The downtown branch of Hawthorn will be open from 9 until 1 Monday through Friday.  The downtown branch of the bank is closed on Saturday.
The North Town branch of Hawthorn will remain open their regular hours 9 AM until 5 PM Monday through Thursday, 9 AM until 6 PM on Friday and 9 AM until noon on Saturday.  Drive-up hours are 8 AM until 5:30 PM Monday through Thursday and 8 AM until 6 PM on Friday.  Drive-up hours on Saturday are 8 AM until noon.
“None of our employees will have their hours cut,” said Allcorn.  “We need more help at the North Town branch so after our staff at the downtown branch close the doors at 1 PM, they will be coming to the North Town branch to work.  We want our customers to know we are not closing the downtown branch of the bank we are just changing the hours.”
The downtown branch of Hawthorn Bank features an ATM at the front of the building; one of the few ATMs in the downtown Warsaw area.
The building at 200 W. Main has been a part of the banking community since the 1800s.  The building was a part of the Osage Valley Bank which was established in the 1800’s and was one of the few banks in the county to remain open during the Great Depression.
