James R. “Bob” Streker

James Robert “Bob” Streker, age 80, of Warsaw, Missouri, went to his eternal rest on May 18, 2018. He was born on February 12, 1938 in Hiawatha, Kansas the son of Sylvester William and Irma Streker.
He graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City Kansas in 1956. He served in the Kansas National Guard from August 1956 through September 1964. Leaving with the rank of Sargent.
He had a lifetime passion for racing from a young age. Racing off-road motorcycles himself. Later owning a race car and being supporter and pit crewman for son, Richard.
His career gave him various roles from management to field service engineer in the Ice Cream Industry. He mentored many young people. These young adults considered him to be one very fantastic unselfish man.
He was blessed to raise three sons; Richard Streker, Edward Gannon and Lee Gannon. Each boy was held in his heart. 
In 1996 he was united in marriage to Cris Streker and in 1999 they became full time retired residents in Warsaw.
Following Bob’s retirement in 2005, he became very active in servant work at Faith Lutheran Church and Sagrada Bible Camp. He loved his church family and the work of Sagrada to bring the word of God to at risk children. In his retirement years, Bob chose to live a Servant Life for God.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold Streker.
He is survived by his wife Cris Streker, of the home, three sons; Richard Streker, and his wife Angela, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Lee Gannon, and his wife Lisa, of Winder, Georgia and Edward Gannon, of Winder, Georgia, six grandchildren; Nicole, Race, Kimbrelyn, Carly, Emily, Jackson and Jack, a great grandson, Cameron, three sisters; Ruth Smith, and her husband Ron, of Ozawkie, Kansas, Margie Moore, of Hinesville, Georgia, and Janet Cleveland, and her husband George, of Raymore, Missouri, nine nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw.  Memorial Services for Bob Streker will be held at 12:00 P.M. Friday, May 25, 2018 at the Faith Lutheran Church, Warsaw.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:00 until 12:00 P.M.  Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church or Sagrada Bible Camp.
