Jarrett L Bryan 37, passed away unexpectedly, November 10, 2017. He was laid to rest in Shawnee Bend Cemetery, Warsaw, MO near his grandparents, Ruby and Marshall Bryan who preceded him in death. Jarrett was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dorthy and Rodney Tevis and an uncle, Marshall E. Bryan.
Jarrett was born May 12, 1980 at Research Hospital, K C, MO to Gary  D. Bryan of Shawnee, KS and Carol S. Shipman of Warsaw, MO. He attended Lee’s Summit Schools through Jr. High then Blue Springs South graduating in 1998. He received an Assoc. Degree from Metropolitan Community College in Graphic Arts.
Growing up in rural Lee’s Summit, he loved riding his bike, exploring the woods & creeks and fishing at Lake Jacomo. He played basketball and baseball through his sophomore year. Jarrett loved being around people and worked in the service industry during his high school and adult life.He loved going to concerts, playing frisbee golf, being an artist and hanging with friends.
He will be sorely missed by his parents Gary & Michelle Bryan and Carl & Carol Shipman, step brother Carl Shipman Jr his wife Dawn, and daughters, Kennedy, Cadynce, and Emersyn, aunt and uncle Mary and Larry Tevis, many cousins and friends, especially Adam Abramson and Brittany Bahner.
His family and friends are holding a “Celebration of Life” on Saturday December 16, from 1 till 3 PM at Clancy’s banquet room in Blue Springs at 800 NW So. Outer Road . In memory of Jarrett, you may make donations to Hope City, 5101 E. 24th St. KC, MO 64127  or Gabriel’s Fund  for sick and injured.
