Katy Trail Community Health Achieves A Perfect Score

Katy Trail Community Health welcomed three consultants and one project officer from the Health Resources and Services Administration to complete a 3 day operational site visit (OSV) on June 19-21, 2018.  These visits are completed every three years and provide assurance to the U.S. Health and Social Service Department that Community Health Centers are meeting all the requirements of the Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act.  
There are 93 elements of compliance under the categories of Governance, Management and Administration, Clinical and Financial.  Katy Trail Community Health and our satellite sites in Marshall, Stover, Warsaw and Versailles were fully compliant in all 93 elements.  “We are very proud of our clinicians and staff at all our locations,” Board President Mary Nell Strautman, reports.  “They have an unqualified commitment to providing high quality, affordable primary care to the residents of our region.”
Katy Trail Community Health is one of 29 community health centers in Missouri and 1,425 community health centers in the nation.  In 2017, it is estimated that community health centers provided primary care to 1 out of every 12 Americans.  
Katy Trail Community Health has five sites and in 2017, provided primary care, oral health, behavioral health and social services to 17,152 people in West Central Missouri.  Katy Trail Community Health has been recognized as a National Health Center Leader, and a Level III patient centered medical home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance.
