KBPHA Cancels Heritage Days, Harbor Is A Go

Kaysinger Bluff Pioneer Heritage Association cancelled their long running Heritage Days event at the Truman Visitors Center and Kaysinger Bluff. Scheduled for October, the group said in a statement, “We felt that it is important to protect our board members, volunteers, exhibitors, our attendees and the community we all live in against the rising numbers of Covid-19. We look forward to next year’s Pioneer Heritage Days as everyone celebrates Missouri’s Bicentennial.”
Warsaw Heritage Days, hosted by the Warsaw Area Chamber of Commerce is set to get underway on October 17 at Drake Harbor. According to Chamber Director Nancy LaBonte, the organization feels that they’re able to provide enough space on the Harbor for proper social distancing. LaBonte said, “We feel this is an important tradition for Warsaw and we can move forward with it in a safe manner.”
