Mildred Irene Robinett

Mildred Irene (Vogler) Robinett, age 70, passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at her home in Lincoln. Mildred was born to Herman & Viola (Purdy) Vogler on May 3, 1947 in rural Benton County.             
Mildred was a lifelong resident of Benton County, growing up on a farm west of Lincoln with her parents and six siblings. She attended school at Lincoln, graduating from High School in May of 1965. Mildred was united in marriage to Larry Joe Robinett on June 5, 1965 at the First Baptist Church of Lincoln.  They were happily married for over fifty years, celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in 2015. They made their first home in Lincoln then moved to Hastain in 1967 to live nearby Joe’s grandmother.  In 1977 they made a final move back to Lincoln, building a new home to raise their growing family. Mildred worked early on for Polly Shoe Store in Warsaw and Bill’s Supermarket in Lincoln. She then began work for the Warsaw Wal-Mart in the fabric department retiring after twenty years of service.
Mildred enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was blessed with three children, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. She loved and cherished them immensely.  One of her favorite pastimes was sewing and quilting.  She made many beautiful quilts over the years.  She recently made over 250 lap quilts and other items for My Sisters Heart a charity group in Odessa that her dear friend and sister in law, Lorna, is a member of.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe Robinett on June 15, 2015, one brother Charles Vogler and a sister Doris Porterfield.
Mildred is survived by three children; Tammy Eichler, and husband Jim, of Lincoln, Scott Robinett, and wife Michelle, of Eldon, and Sandra Fisher, and husband Chris, of Sedalia, eight grandchildren; Jill Reimund, and husband Shaun, of Lincoln, Heather Ward, and husband Tommy, of Warsaw, Austin Eichler, and fiancé Haeley, of Lincoln, Gavin Eichler, of Lincoln, Garrett Dulaban, of Sedalia,  Blake Dulaban, of Springfield, Kelsey Rooffener, and  husband Jim, of Macks Creek, and Jeremy Robinett, of Eldon, four great-grandchildren; Myriam, Jacob, Henry and Jackson, four brothers; Henry Vogler, of Cole Camp,  Marvin Vogler, and wife Carolyn, of Moberly, Melvin Vogler, and wife Sally, of Knob Noster,  and Jesse Vogler, of Lincoln, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services for Mildred I. Robinett were held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the Davis-Miller Funeral Home in Lincoln, Missouri. Graveside Services and Interment were held at the Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation was held one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M.
