Pursuit Ends In Car Crash At North Shore

 Warsaw Police Officer Levi Ullum approached a man acting suspiciously on Sunday evening in Warsaw.  When he attempted to question him, the man jumped in his car and attempted to run the officer down.  He left behind a woman who had been with him.
Christina Doprzedek, 19, was taken into custody and is now in the Benton County Jail for hindering the prosecution of a felon.  She is being held on a $5,000 bond.
Officers chased Thomas Peak who was driving a dark blue Ford Mustang but were unable to apprehend him.  Peak’s abandoned vehicle was found in a pasture near Lost Valley Road north of Warsaw on Monday morning.
Peak drove through a fence on the property of Bob and Anita Campbell of Warsaw.  The vehicle was stopped by a rock crate post.  Peak abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.  As of press time, he has not been apprehended and is considered dangerous.
Peak is wanted in Henry County for 7 outstanding warrants.
