Ralph Dennis Everett

 
Ralph D. Everett, age 81, of Edwards, Missouri, departed this life on February 7, 2018 at the Warsaw Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.  He was born on November 27, 1936 in Forsyth, Missouri the son of Addis and Mary Frances Everett.
At age 15, he finished his high school years at the School of the Ozarks at Point Lookout, Missouri, then joined the Air Force. He was stationed in England, becoming a member of the Special Forces during the years of 1953 thru 1957.  After his service, he lived in California a short time, then moved to the Kansas City area and began working for Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, Missouri.  His love of fishing and hunting then moved him to settle on the Deer Creek Arm of the Lake of the Ozarks, the place he called home.  He then began working for the Army Corps of Engineers, helping out in the construction of Truman Dam.  After the dam was completed, Ralph became maintenance supervisor for all Corps area parks and campgrounds until he was forced to retire due to a back injury.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Ted Everett, a sister Phyllis and a stepson Donald.
Ralph is survived by his wife Shirley of the home, a son Stephen of Mary Eshher, Florida, two stepdaughters; Carol Hanchette and Linda Martinez both of Kansas City, Missouri and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, three sisters; Linda Tinker (Don) of Branson, Missouri, Marilyn Albright (Buddy) of Bradleyville, Missouri and Krea Melton (Gale) of Walnut Shade, Missouri, two brothers Robert Everett (Sara) and Joe Everett, both of Edwards, Missouri.
Memorial Services for Ralph D. Everett will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri.
