Harris
Carl James Harris 77 of Warsaw MO / La Feria, TX, passed away October 27, 2017 in Harlingen TX after a short illness. Carl was born July 9, 1940 in Altamont, MO, the 8th of 9 children born to Carl and Lilly Harris. He was raised in Gallatin MO and was a proud member of the class of 1958.
He retired in 1998 after 30 years as a truck driver for United Parcel Services. Carl loved to sing karaoke, use his hands to make many unique items, he loved auctions or any kind of sales. He pitched horseshoes with the Truman Lake Horseshoe Club and was a proud member of the National Horseshoe Pitching Association and the Missouri State Horseshoe Association. Also he was a member of the Elks Lodge # 2783 Warsaw.
He has lived the last four years in Macks Camp northwest of Warsaw with his wife Deb and his father in law Dean Constance. He is also survived by eight children, 15 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Also he is survived by three brothers and two sisters. He will be missed by many other family members and lots of friends. 
A “Celebration of Life” will be held in the summer at the family farm in Gallatin, MO.
