Roy Irvin 
March 25, 1948- February 24, 2020
On Monday, February 24, 2020, at 9:41PM, Roy received the victory of all victories being called home to the Lord.  
Roy was preceded in death by his parents Olan Johnson and Wynonna Shields Johnson.  
Survivors are wife Susan Hall Johnson of Hermitage, Mo; brother Richard and Carolyn Johnson of Fordland, Mo., his children Kelly Bright and Ray of Boone, Iowa, Roy O. Johnson and Kara Sauble of Lincoln, Mo., Christina J. Johnson Red Wing and Robert of Warsaw, Mo., Kendall Cullumber and Karin Patterson of Pittsburg, Mo., Ronald Hampton and Melissa of Springfield, Mo.; grandchildren Adam Dudley and Emily, Michael, Dylan and Sean Johnson, Brittney Cullumber, Chase, Easton, Gracie and Kate Hampton, Kayla, Lakota, Marymae and Cheylynn Red Wing; great-grandchildren Cayden, Conner, Caley and Sophia, Bentley and Bailey; many nephews, nieces, friends, and family.   
Roy was a master carpenter, auctioneer, fishing guide on Pomme de Terre, worked in a custom cabinet business with his brother Richard.  
He was a rancher and horseman.  His last job was at Silver Dollar City at the Opera House.  Through the unwavering prayers of his wife and the endless love from God, Roy found the Lord in 1999 and was baptized in Truman Lake by Pastor Walter Admire. Roy was a member of  Hermitage First Baptist Church, where he loved being a greeter and taking care of the church vehicles. 
Roy will be missed by so many, but we will see him again one day. 
Roy’s Celebration of Life will be officiated by Pastor Jeremy Hostettler on March 25th at 10:30AM at Hermitage First Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be officiated by Pastor Roy Dodd, on Saturday April 5th at 1:00PM at Green Valley Cemetery in Osawatomie, Kansas.
