For the twelfth year the Warsaw Knights of Columbus held their annual Shrimp Boil on September 11.
The Knights prepared 828 pounds of shrimp for the enjoyment of 620 people.  They even offered a drive through this year.
“We found most people wanted to come out to eat shrimp and also visit with their friends and neighbors,” said Shrimp Boil Chairman Joe Gazarek.
Gazarek and his helpers Mike Shortino, John Cooner, Steve Garcia and Howard Sullentrop worked from 7:30 AM until 8:30 PM preparing for the shrimp boil and cleaning up afterwards.
“This is our major fund raiser for the year,” said Gazarek.

The Knights will give the profits from the Shrimp Boil to five local charities.
