Warsaw Chamber of Commerce members hosted the Warsaw High School Quarterback Club tailgate dinner on September 7 in the WHS cafeteria.
Area restaurants donated food and drinks for 125 members of the Quarterback Club.
Chamber of Commerce Director Mac Vorce was pleased with the turnout and the support for the school.
“The Chamber is working to get our members together with the school to show support of our students,” said Vorce.  “A different group takes on the responsibility of the food for the Quarterback Club tailgate party at each home varsity football game.  This was our turn to help the WHS Booster Club to grow.”
Local restaurants who participated in the “Taste of Warsaw” tailgate party included:  Delightful Donuts, Roadhouse, Hidden Lake Restaurant, Cosmic Coffee, The Landing, Subway, and McDonald’s.  Chamber member Lori Dunkin also supplied food for the event.
Members of the Quarterback Club receive free passes to the home games as well as special parking and a free meal before the game.  WHS Booster Club members who would like to join the Quarterback Club should contact WHS Athletic Director Ryan Boyer at 660-438-7351.
