Wallace Utech

William Wallace Utech, age 86, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 at his home. He was born on August 22, 1932 in Pekin, Illinois the son of William Harry Ernest Utech and Hester (Beasley) Utech. 
He grew up in Delevan, Illinois and graduated from Pekin High School in 1950. He then went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Illinois State University and taught history at the junior high school level for many years. On August 22, 1980 he was united in marriage to Maryellen Wragg. They made their home in Illinois until moving to Missouri in 1991. 
Wallace was a member and Elder of the Faith Lutheran Church in Warsaw. 
He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Diane Lott and a sister Rosalie Thomas. 
He is survived by his wife Maryellen, of the home, one son William Mark Utech, and his wife Debbie, of Tremont, Illinois, a sister Nancy Hanna, and her husband Ed, of Raleigh, North Carolina, five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. 
Funeral Services for William Wallace Utech will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday October 10, 2018 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Warsaw, Missouri. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Graveside services and interment will follow the funeral at the Shawnee Cemetery in Warsaw.
