Warsaw High School seniors, time is running out to apply for the Warsaw School Alumni Scholarship. Applications should be turned in by March 24, 2024.
The Warsaw School Alumni Association awards two $1,400 scholarships to two graduating WHS seniors each year. Any senior with a GPA of 2.5 or above planning to attend a two-or four-year accredited college, university, or vocational school should consider applying for this scholarship.
Some former scholarship recipients have included: Sterling Karr, a Biology graduate at Missouri Valley College, now serving active duty in the Air Force; Monica Grace working on her Doctorate in Psychology at St. Louis University; Riley Karr, a Hospitality Management graduate at Ozark Technical College, working in the day care business; Thane Henderson, a University of Central Missouri graduate in Ag Finance, now working for Rural First in Louisville, KY; and Alyssa Alcantara, a sophomore Bio-medical major at Northwest Missouri State.
It is very important for the Alumni Association to keep this scholarship continuing. If you would like to donate to the Warsaw School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, please mail a check to Warsaw School Alumni Association, PO Box 1528, Warsaw, MO 65355. All donations are greatly appreciated.
The 36th Warsaw All-School reunion will be Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the John Boise Middle School. We hope to see a lot of alumni there!
