Dennis O. Mills, age 69, of Warsaw, Missouri passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on April 18, 1953 in Sedalia, Missouri the son of Travis Mills and Wilma (Bybee) Mills. Dennis grew up in Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1972.
On September 25, 1976 he was united in marriage to Karen Kellner at the Zion Lutheran Church in Lincoln, Missouri. Unto this union two sons were born.
Dennis was employed by Ferrell Industries as a Gun Scope Mount Manufacturer for many years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Warsaw, an Associate Member of the Marine Corps League and a member of the Warsaw Horseshoe Club. In addition to throwing horseshoes, Dennis loved to hunt, fish and play slow pitch softball.
He is preceded in death by his wife Karen Mills on November 13, 2014, and his parents, Travis and Wilma Mills. Dennis is survived by two sons; Scott Mills and his wife Dusty, of Warsaw and Mark Mills, of Warsaw, a granddaughter, Ashlyn Mills, a grandson Thatcher Mills, a sister, Judy Noland, of Warsaw, several nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services for Dennis O. Mills will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 17, 2023 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow the funeral at the Turkey Creek Cemetery near Warsaw.
