Dieckman, Cole Camp Hang On To Beat Versailles

Cole Camp's Gentry Dieckman, the lanky 6'5 sophomore,  had enough in the tank to go seven innings in a Monday night 5-3 victory over the host team Versailles. 
Dieckman struck out five throwing 56 strikes out of 87 pitches. He also helped hinself with the win by driving in a run.
Elias Huber, the German exchange stundent, also drove in a run. Reid Harrison, the fastest player in Benton County, singled and stole second and scored on a double by Huber. The power hitter would score on an error as it was 2-0 in their half of the first.
The Tigers scored one in first and two in second. Cole Camp had two in the sixth and one in the seventh. 
Cole Camp moved to 12-7 on the season.
