A week of nice weather, with lots of rainfall.  Turkey Creek has been out of it's banks several times this week even going over the bridge that spans the creek on Angus Road a couple times.
Schools have held graduation exercises this week and Fristoe's Devin Hawley graduated  from Warsaw High School Thursday night.  Devin has been a neighbor attending school for elementary and high school.  We wish Devin the very best.
We have uplifting news about the illnesses that have been a problem for several Fristoe residents this past week.  Everyone is on the mend.  Although one may still be in the hospital, almost everyone that was down last week are much better.  They want to thank everyone for the prayers.
Happy birthday shout-out to my cousin Connie Reno and good neighbor Claude Weaver, both celebrating their birthday on Friday, May 27.
The Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse Church will be holding a Church Garage Sale on Saturday, June 11 with many useful items for sale.  There will be a list next week of some items.
Sis. Billie Ullum, former Pastor's wife of Lighthouse Church, celebrated her 90th birthday on Friday, May 20.  Her family gave her a birthday celebration on Sunday, May 22, in the Cross Timbers Community Building.  There was a huge crowd but of course there is a huge crowd of just her family.  But all of her children, nearly all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren were with her for the day.  The Lord has truly blessed Sis. Ullum and former Pastor Kenneth Ullum.
Thought for the week:  Although the tongue weighs very little, few people are able to hold it.
We hope everyone reading Fristoe News has a happy, safe, very prosperous week!
