Greetings. Below are the cases that were resolved/indicted in the Associate and Circuit Courts of Benton County from January 1-31, 2024.
Joseph D. Bennett: age 42, Warsaw, MO was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance - Amphetamine.
Justin Bowlin: age 51, Lincoln, MO, was sentenced to 10 days in the Benton County Detention Center for misdemeanor Resisting an Arrest.
Ashley Colliver: age 35, Lincoln, MO, was sentenced to 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.
Robert Daniels: age 53, Warsaw, MO, was sentenced to 24 days in the Benton County Detention Center for Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Kyle Stephen Fraser: age 36, Warsaw, MO, was indicted on the felony charges of Stealing - Greater than $25,000, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Resisting Arrest for a Felony.
Jonathon DeWayne Hamilton: age 19, Warsaw, MO, was indicted on the felony charge of Receiving Stolen Property.
Allen Eugene Peek: age 35, Calhoun, MO, was indicted on the felony charge of Resisting Arrest by Fleeing – Creating a Substantial Risk.
Donald Grove: age 77, Warsaw, MO, was indicted on the felony charge of Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
John Patrick Leach Jr.: age 41, Cole Camp, MO, was sentenced to 81 days in the Benton County Detention Center for Assault – 4th Degree.
Kyle Cooper: age 27, Warsaw, was sentenced to 2, 2, and 2 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on three separate matters (Domestic Assault 3rd Degree, Assault 3rd Degree – Special Victim, and Resisting an Arrest for a Felony).
Brandon Brown: age 38, Warsaw, MO, was sentenced to 30 days in the Benton County Detention Center for Resisting an Arrest for a Felony.
Matthew Ryan Johnson: age 33, Lincoln, MO, was sentenced to 5 and 4 year sentences in the Missouri Department of Corrections for Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
Carrie Galloway: age 42, Sedalia, MO, was sentenced to 120 days in the Benton County Detention Center for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.
Elechia Terry: age 43, Louisburg, MO, was sentenced to 4 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections after her probation was revoked.
