If you are a business owner in Cole Camp or provide services for residents of Cole Camp, you will need to purchase a business license. The cost is based on the number of employees of the business. This has not been clearly understood in the past so I hope that this can be clarified by the Board of Aldermen so that it will be fair to all businesses. One of the items that will be considered is to base the cost on number of full-time equivalents (FTE). Many businesses employ several part-time (PT) employees rather than only full-time (FT) employees. This will make it easier to determine a fair/reasonable cost for businesses. The licenses are due June 1st of each year and can be obtained at City Hall.
