Alice Quiocho, age 61, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. She was born on October 9, 1963, to Juan and Bertha Salazar.
Alice was raised in Los Angeles, California, and in the early 1970s, she and her family moved to San Gabriel, California, where she graduated high school. At the age of 20, she met her loving husband, Kevin, and they were united in marriage on March 8, 1986. Together, they welcomed two children in California before relocating to Warsaw, Missouri, in 1989, where they had their third child in January 1992. They recently celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary.
Alice had a long career with Wal-Mart, working for over two decades. She found joy in spending time with her family and friends, enjoying classic rock music, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. However, her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, who brought immense love and happiness to her life.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her sisters, Elizabeth Gonzales and Irene Salazar; her brothers, Oscar, David, and John Salazar; her daughter, Erica Anderson and her husband Greg; her son, Kevin Jr. and his wife Suzi; her son, Bryan and his partner Ashley Hedrick. Alice is also survived by her grandchildren: Azalyn Quiocho, Alyssa and Makenzie Anderson, Karter Quiocho, Jordan Anderson, Jayden Quiocho, Avery Quiocho, Jace Quiocho, and a ninth grandchild expected this spring.
Alice is now reunited with her parents, Juan and Bertha, in heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025, with a visitation one hour prior, at Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri.
