Benton County 4H, FFA Fair To Showcase Work This Week

The annual Benton County 4-H FFA Fair is scheduled to being this week in Lincoln at the 4-H FFA Fairground located on Park Street.
The Fair opens on Thursday, June 29  with the Sheep Show at 10:00 AM.  The Dairy/Meat Goat Show will follow the Sheep Show.  The Dog Show will be held at 11:00 AM.
Horses will be checked in at 2:30 PM with the show beginning at 4:30 PM in the arena.
Conference judging of the non-livestock projects will begin at 5:00 PM in the 4-H FFA Fair Building.  Vo-Ag projects and cured meats will be checked in at from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
On Friday, June 30, Swine will be checked in at 7:00 PM with the show beginning at 10:00 AM.
Rabbits, Poultry and Pets will be checked in at noon with the show beginning at 1:00 PM.
The chocolate cake and ice cream freezing contest will begin at 6:00 PM.
The coronation of the Fair Royalty will be held at 6:00 PM.
The ice cream social will be held after the coronation which is free to the public.
Youth games will be held after the social.
On Saturday, July 1, the Bucket Calf, Beef Cattle and Dairy Cattle will be checked in at 8:00 AM.  The Bucket Calf Show will begin at 9:30 AM followed by the Beef Cattle Show and the Dairy Show.
The Livestock Sale Dinner will begin at 4:30 PM followed by the sale of the Grand Champions and Reserve Champions of all entries.
All the shows are free to the public and everyone is welcome to come to see the results of a year of work by the members of our county 4-H and FFA members.  All fair events will be held at the Fairgrounds located on Park Street in Lincoln.
