The Benton County Cup was played on a nice warm Wednesday in Cole Camp last week and the Cole Camp Bluebirds retained the title for the fourth year in a row.
Again, the day was pleasant and the wind wasn't a factor. The Triple Creek Golf Course was in great shape in spite of the recent rain storm. The ground crew did a great job.
Without counting the fifth man alternate, it was Cole Camp 153, Lincoln 197 and Warsaw 208.
The Bluebirds Gage Oelrich and Spencer Godwin took the medal, each with a very nice 37, Matthew Bright followed with a 39 for Cole Camp. Tyler Howard shot a 40 and Issac Vosmith a 51 rounding out Cole Camp's scoring.
Lincoln was led by Bogan Lines with a 45, Lance Stevenson had a 49, Kolton Walker 50, Cade Rutherford 53 and Anthony Srader a 56.
Carson Bonner led Warsaw with a 45. Carter Howell had a 52, Austin Schibi 53, Parker Gemes 58 and Elliot Kowal 60.
