Bob Lippold

Robert “Bob” Lippold, age 81, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away on May 29, 2025, after a courageous battle with illness. He was born on February 9, 1944, the son of Harold and Myrtle Lippold.

Bob worked at Baker & Taylor in Momence, Illinois, for over thirty years before moving to Missouri in 1998. After relocating, he was employed by Tyson Foods and later by Walmart, where he worked until his retirement.

In 1965, Bob married Donna Posing, and together they raised three children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Larry Lippold; his sister, Gail Beever, and her husband, Tom; and his son-in-law, Brad Argenbright.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Donna Lippold; his daughter, Traci Argenbright; and his two sons, Lonny Lippold (Mary) and Michael Lippold (Kiane). He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Kaila Young (Zachary Paxton), Matthew Young, Tyler Argenbright (Bonnie), Taylor Argenbright (Vincent Johnson), Ian Smith, and Sydney Smith. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, who always made him smile: Bentley Jewell, Brooklynn Argenbright, Embry Tatum, Lili Paxton, and Oliver Paxton. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law: Bob Posing (Jo), Terry Posing (Libby), and Dale Posing; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Bob had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, searching for arrowheads, and wood carving. He was also a talented artist, known for his wildlife artwork.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
