The lodge members are all excited about attending the state convention in Jefferson City this week. The lodge is hosting the hospitality room for our district. I can’t wait to see pictures of the decorated room; the theme for the room is MASH. Who will be our Klinger? Not only is it a lot of fun to participate, but the members will attend classes, gather information to improve our lodge and ideas on how we can help our community.

If you know someone who is interested in becoming a member or are you curious what we do for the community? Attend our quarterly Membership Drive/Steak Night on October 6 at 6:15 PM. Please RSVP to the lodge by October 3. The meal consists of rib eye, baked potato and salad.

The lodge is having a “Ladies Night Out” fundraiser on October 10. Dinner at 5:00 PM and Bunco will start at 6:00 PM. The cost will be $20 and that includes the meal, dessert, coffee and of course prizes. Don’t know how to play or it’s been a while, come on out and have some fun. The event is held in a non-smoking meeting room. The proceeds from this event will go towards the Christmas for Benton County Veterans 2023. Mark your calendar and invite your friends.
