Bruce Lynn Jackson, 65, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at home after a short battle with bone cancer. Bruce was born on April 1, 1959 in Kansas City, MO. Bruce was the son of Clifford Jackson and Anna Faye (Chestnut) Russo. He graduated from Jefferson West High School, Meriden, Kansas in 1977.

Bruce married his high school sweetheart Karen Kendall (Norris) in November of 1978. They divorced in 1990 but remained close and very good friends.

Bruce owned his own businesses in the greater Kansas City area J & J Tow services and J & J Construction. Bruce's brothers worked with him in his businesses periodically through the years.

Bruce married Trish Lyon in 2009 and she passed in a car accident in 2010.

Bruce loved the outdoors and the water. In 2011, he retired to Edwards, MO. and the Lake of the Ozarks. Each day he would enjoy the outdoors. He loved boating, fishing, jet ski, water skiing, ATVing, playing and working with large equipment, sky diving, scuba diving, cliff jumping, and hunting. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed spending and sharing his love of life and adventure with each of them. He encouraged and enjoyed having his boys, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to come to the lake and enjoy. He especially loved having his niece (Amy Kirkman) and her family live down the street. He was so loved.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Clifford Jackson and Anna Faye Russo, his three brothers, Larry Jackson, Rick Jackson, and David Jackson (all greater Kansas City), and one sister, Brenda Clark (Belton, Missouri).

Bruce is survived by his two sons, Dustin Jackson (Bates City, MO) Casey Jackson (Overland Park, KS), and four grandchildren, Mia, Blaze, Dakota and Lily, nieces Amy Kirkman, Jody Dunning, nephews: Jason Bauman, Rickey Riebesell, Corey Jackson, and Erik Clark.

Arrangements for his cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home. Warsaw, Missouri.
