CCA Gymnasium – A new chapter in spiritual enrichment began at Clinton Christian Academy (CCA) on Friday, September 13, as the school unveiled its Student-Led Worship Team. The inaugural praise and worship session set the tone for what promises to be a transformative addition to the school’s weekly rhythm, creating an atmosphere of heartfelt devotion and unity.
The CCA Gymnasium was abuzz with anticipation as students, faculty, and parents gathered for the first session led by this enthusiastic new group of young worship leaders. As the clock struck 7:45 a.m., the room was filled with the resonant chords of contemporary Christian music, setting a reverent yet vibrant mood. The Student-Led Worship Team, composed of talented students from various grades, took to the stage with an inspiring blend of skill and enthusiasm, leaving the audience deeply touched and uplifted.
The morning began with uplifting songs that stirred the hearts of all in attendance. The team’s dynamic energy and passionate engagement with the music quickly established a deep sense of community and shared purpose. The experience was “uplifting” and “refreshing,” noting that the student-led approach fostered a unique and personal connection to the worship time.
“I was very proud of the students that had the courage to lead their peers in worship this morning,” said Ryan Campos, CCA Bible Teacher. “It is very uplifting to see students worshiping together and glorifying God before the school day begins. This is a welcome addition to our Friday morning chapels!”
Student Worship Leader, Hannah Wright, shared, “I’m so excited to bring worship to CCA! There were a few obstacles to overcome, but we’re looking forward to the future. I can see God moving more than ever this year and I’m excited for what’s to come!”
The introduction of the Student-Led Worship Team is part of CCA’s broader mission to cultivate leadership and deepen spiritual growth among students. By allowing students to lead worship, the school aims to empower them to take active roles in their faith journeys and contribute meaningfully to the school community.
