The March meeting of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter IU was held at the Rotary Building Thursday night, March 13, 2025 with 21 sisters in attendance. Festive birthday decorations celebrating our 69 years as Chapter IU and scrumptious treats were provided by hostesses Allison Schilling and Susan Scott. The evening included the initiation of our officers for their second year and a stroll down memory lane of Chapter IU by Dinah Scott.
A huge thank you to each of the officers, President Deb Mills, Vice President Peggy Arthur, Recording Secretary Brenda Ford, Corresponding Secretary Lisa Wallace, Treasurer Margaret Barr, Chaplain Janet Akers and Guard Vivian Taylor for their dedication, hard work and support these past twelve months and their continued commitment for the coming year.
Susan Hutcherson passed out the 2025-2026 yearbooks with an exciting agenda of monthly programs centered in the stars. The Chapter’s monthly mystery babe was Judy McVeigh.
State Convention is June 6-8 at Columbia, Missouri this summer. President Deb Mills and Susan Scott will be attending. P.E.O Day at Arrowrock will be July 1st featuring Legally Blonde.
The next meeting will be held April 10, 2025 at the Rotary Building. Co-hostesses will be Jennifer Kiely and Marnie Bellamy.
