Daniel “Danny” E. Hunsucker, age 60, of Lincoln, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.
He was born on March 28, 1965, in Jackson County, Missouri, the son of Duward and Barbara Hunsucker. Danny grew up in Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw High School in 1983. He worked for several years at Sterett Creek Marina before beginning a long and successful career as a welder with Iron Workers Local 10, where he earned the rank of Journeyman.
Danny had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, playing pool, and golfing. He was an excellent chess player and, later in life, found joy and creativity in woodworking.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his great-nephew, Beau Fournier.
Danny is survived by his two sisters, Annette Koll (Rick) of Lincoln, Missouri, and Jennifer Williams (Larry) of Springfield, Missouri; two nephews, one niece, seven great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great-niece.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Miller Funeral Home, Lincoln, Missouri.
