Fasten Your Sleigh Belts! Boutique Crawl Brings On The Holiday Bustle

Posted

Kicking off the holiday season is the Fourth Annual Benton County Boutique Crawl on November 15 and 16. Area merchants are participating in the crawl to encourage shoppers to come take a look at all the great merchandise available in the many small shops in Warsaw, Lincoln and Cole Camp.

How does this work, one might ask? At the first stop, participants will receive a Boutique Crawl Passport with all the stops listed on it. Participants can start at any of the participating shops. At each stop, each participant will receive a stamp or a sticker showing he/she stopped at that location. At the last stop, participants will turn in their FULLY stamped/stickered passports for entry into the $1,00 GRAND PRIZE DRAWING! Second prize is $500 and third prize is also $500.

The idea for the Benton County Boutique Crawl was to introduce the various boutiques in Benton County to shoppers and encourage them to shop local.

“Small businesses are the heart of a small town,” said Jennifer Flores of Country Charm. “We want to encourage people to shop small and help our small towns grow.”

Charming Market located across the street from Country Charm will be having their Grand Opening during the Benton County Boutique Crawl. Charming Market will feature an area for The Fix as well as other unique specialties.

This is a free event. Participants do not have to pay for passports, however, many of the shops will be offering discounts on November 15 and 16. There will also be food trucks and refreshments at several of the establishments.

Those boutiques participating in the crawl include:

Warsaw: Country Charm, 230 E. Main Street; Creative Palette, 216 W. Main Street, LOZ Outfitters, Main Street, Grace by the Moment, Main Street, and Charming Market, Main Street.

Lincoln: Palo Pinto Ranch Store, 107 North Highway 65.

Cole Camp: Heide Mae Boutique, 109 E. Main; Mid Missouri Trends, 103 E. Main Street; RiOak Western Design, 116 N. Maple Street; Bee Cherished Flowers and More, 100 N. Maple Street; Handel Haus, 101 S. Maple Street.

So, mark the calendar for November 15 and 16 and shop Benton County!
