Floyd W. Gilmore, age 80, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Monday, January 5, 2026, at his home.
He was born on December 14, 1945, in Eagleville, Missouri, the son of Howard Wayne Gilmore and Alberta (Hazen) Gilmore. Floyd grew up in Kansas City and was a graduate of Northeast High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.
Floyd owned and operated his own body shop and worked in autobody repair for more than forty years. He took great pride in his work and was known for his dedication and skill. In his free time, Floyd enjoyed working on cars and was looking forward to spending more time camping. He dearly loved his dog, Rowdy, who was a constant companion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dawn White; two brothers; and three sisters.
Floyd is survived by three children: Diane Riggs (Larry) of Versailles, Missouri, Alisa Ames of St. Cloud, Florida, and Dustin Gilmore (Kathleen) of Warsaw; and eighteen grandchildren.
Arrangements for cremation are under the direction of the Reser Funeral Home, 101 W. Main Street, Warsaw, Missouri.
