Former Lady Card, Paxton Hired As Lincoln Assistant For Softball

Aleah Paxton ,graduate of Lincoln high school and State Fair Community College has been named the new assistant softball coach at Lincoln.
Paxton pitched the Lady Cardinals to the 2019 state championship. 
The job came opened when head coach  Chris Sanders stepped down at the end of the season to coach baseball next year along with his longtime duties with basketball and football.
Kelly DeHaan moved up from assistant coach to the head coaching position.
Paxton will help coach her sister sophomore Braylin Paxton, who was the starting pitcher in their 10-10 season this past spring.
Lincoln has a young team that gained much  experience last season. All State Senior Gracyn Eifert will lead the way to hopefully a winning season.
Aleah Paxton knows all of the girls and has played softball since she was six years old. She fell in love with the game early on and played on the Sun Devils, a traveling summer team coached by her dad, Matt Paxton.
She pitched two years for State Fair.
