Freddie Carl Anderson, age 89, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Lincoln Community Nursing Home in Lincoln, Missouri.

Fred was born on February 27, 1936, the son of Arthur and Leah (Boyd) Anderson. When he was just ten years old, his parents moved to Eldorado, Missouri, where they purchased a family farm. It was there that Fred learned responsibility and developed the strong work ethic that guided him throughout his life.

In 1957, Fred moved to South Carolina to work alongside his brother. In 1962, he relocated to Kansas and joined the Union, Teamsters Local 541. In 1965, he met the love of his life, Carole Martley. The two were united in marriage on January 3, 1970, and from that union, two daughters were born, Jami and Heather. They made their home in Stanley, Kansas.

Fred and Carole shared a love for Warsaw and purchased a lake home there in 1986. After retiring in 1993, they moved permanently to their forever home in Warsaw, Missouri.

Fred and Carole had a deep love for the Lord. He was a member of Faith Chapel in Stanley, Kansas, and later transferred his membership to The River Church.

Fred was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished grandfather. He was gentle, loving, funny, and always ready for an adventure. He loved the lake, swimming, skiing, cliff diving, and fishing. He also enjoyed camping, watching cartoons, comedies, and westerns, and indulging in sweet treats, especially peach pie and ice cream.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carole Anderson; and three brothers, Alvin Anderson, Leroy Anderson, and Harry Anderson.

Fred is survived by his loving daughters, Jami (Scott) Moran of Edwards, Missouri, and Heather (Paul) Hawley of Warsaw, Missouri; grandchildren, Brandon (Holly) Anderson of Warsaw, Missouri, Ty (Raven) Moran of Warsaw, Missouri, Dennis (Taylor) Hawley of Warsaw, Missouri, Courtney (Jon) Dickerson of Harrisonville, Drew (Kyle) Simnitt of Lincoln, Missouri, and Christopher Hawley of Warsaw, Missouri; and great-grandchildren, Ella, Sam, Van, Kyndall, Cade, Charleigh, and Chase.

He is also survived by one brother, Bill Anderson; one sister, Dolores (Anderson) Campbell; numerous nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

Fred will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Reser Funeral Home.
