The Fristoe area is in need of moisture.  The forecasters keep saying rain in their forecasts but it usually dries out before it gets to south Benton County.
The Arnett family has been enjoying the onions, radishes and other things Dean worked hard at putting in the ground at the beginning of March.  We always try to share with our family and friends when it is possible.  I have had several times of enjoying asparagus.  I love this time of year.
We have word that our friend and brother in Christ Russell Weeks, from Buffalo is at home and doing good. We are so thankful to hear that.  Have visited Kathy First at the Warsaw Rehab and Nursing facility this past week and she is doing better with each week.  Kele brought her to Sunday School and Church Sunday morning and she enjoyed that time.  Continue to remember Kathy in prayer as well as Carolyn Colbert,Curtis Allen, Mary Scarbrough, Gladys Harris,  Lewis and Judy Retherford, Easter Willis, and Donna Nelson.
The Fristoe Pentecostal Lighthouse Church reminds everyone to Remember the yearly Day Of Prayer on Thursday May 4th.

The Fristoe  Lighthouse's Men's Breakfast was held Saturday morning April 29th at Peggy Berry's  "Back In Time" facility on Main Street in Warsaw.  It is reported they had a great turn out and they all enjoyed sharing the time with each other.
Warsaw High School held it's Junior/Senior Prom Saturday night.  I was a Senior for the first Jr/Sr Prom that was held in the gym of the new Warsaw High School.  As I said I was a Senior in 1970 and had the privilege of being in the first class that graduated from the "Brand New Warsaw High School"!  This years prom was held in a facility in Sedalia MO.
Our Sunday School lesson was entitled Make important the time you set aside for God.  Br. Smith's message centered around the sermon 23rd Psalm. Other scriptures also that assured us we had a wonderful Shepherd watching over us. We are encouraged to always remember this.
Thought for the week:   Put others before yourself, and you will become a valued person among those!
Hope everyone reading Fristoe News has a beautiful, safe and blessed week!
