Glenna F. Kreisel

Glenna F. Kreisel, age 91, of Warsaw, Missouri, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, at Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia.
She was born on January 30, 1934, in Mora, Missouri, the daughter of Albert and Martha Miesner. Glenna grew up in Mora and graduated from Cole Camp High School in 1952. On April 5, 1953, she was united in marriage to Marvin Kreisel at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Cole Camp.
Following their marriage, Glenna and Marvin made their home in Kansas City, where Glenna was employed as a bookkeeper for Automatique for more than thirty-five years. In June of 1996, they moved to Warsaw, where she continued to enjoy an active and fulfilling life.
Glenna had a love for flowers and was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of the 65 Card Club. She was also a devoted member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML). Above all, Glenna cherished time spent with her family and enjoyed traveling to attend her grandchildren’s activities.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin Kreisel, who passed away on May 22, 2021; an infant son, two infant siblings, Harry and Ethel Mae Miesner; and a brother, Milburn Miesner.
Glenna is survived by her son, Rick Kreisel (Mary) of Warsaw, Missouri; three daughters, Rhonda Becker (John) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Ranae Garrett (Kenny) of Warsaw, Missouri, and Rochelle Birnbaum (Bob) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Brad Kreisel (Jennifer) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Michael Garrett (Jewell) of Warsaw, Missouri, Jessica Tate (Curtis) of Blue Springs, Missouri, Magan Cobb (Lathan) of Warsaw, Missouri, Lindsay Berggren (Preston) of Spring Hill, Kansas, Chris Birnbaum (Bethany) of Overland Park, Kansas, Sarah Weatherby (Roy) of Lincoln, Missouri, and Ryan Becker (Kelsey) of Odessa, Missouri; fourteen great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; and a sister-in-law, Arleen Miesner of Cole Camp, Missouri.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church, with Pastor Michael McGinley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
