Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare recently donated a decommissioned ambulance to the Clinton Technical School for use as part of its Emergency Medical Technician program.
The emergency vehicle will offer students opportunities to develop hands-on healthcare skills and simulate real-world scenarios.
“By providing this ambulance to the Clinton Technical School for the training, we are investing in future healthcare providers,” said Amy Guynn, RN, Paramedic, Director of Ambulance Services at GVMH. “Practical, hands-on experience is invaluable in healthcare education, and we are proud to support their EMT program as it cultivates skilled and compassionate healthcare workers who will undoubtedly help make a difference in our communities.”
“We are grateful for our partnership with GVMH and are excited to put the ambulance to use to educate our students,” said Melissa Batusic, Director at Clinton Technical School. “The ambulance will allow students to develop skills and gain experience that will boost their proficiency and help them become more prepared to enter the workforce after graduation.”
