Irvin LeRoy Foster, Jr. age 83 of Warsaw, Missouri passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Warsaw Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on April 27, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas the son of Ervin LeRoy, Sr., and Hughanna Beaman Foster.
LeRoy attended elementary school in Loring, Kansas. His family moved to Warsaw, Missouri in 1956. He graduated from Warsaw High School in 1960. LeRoy was united in marriage to Roxie Lusher on February 14, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri. Following their marriage they made their home in Kansas City, Kansas.
LeRoy worked for General Motors Fairfax Plant for ten years then later for the family hardware store in Warsaw and the Henry Wurst Printing Company in Kansas City, before returning to Warsaw in 2007. He and Roxie celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in February of 2025.
LeRoy was an avid NASCAR and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He also enjoyed spending time with family and neighbors. He always had a story to tell of his shenanigans. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Kelly Ervin, and infant daughter Kimberly Ann, a grandson Casimier Wrobieski Foster and a great grandson, Kaden Foster.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Roxie of the home, four sons; Craig Foster (Shelly), of Huntington, Indiana, Curtis Foster (Kara), of Trimble, Missouri, Keith Foster (Brandi), of St. Joseph, Missouri and Kent Foster and his wife Christine, of Gladstone, Missouri, fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, DiAnn Edmondson of Lenexa, Kansas and Reen Drussell, of Mission, Kansas, two brothers, Rodney and Randy Foster, both of Warsaw, numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services for Irvin LeRoy Foster, Jr. will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw.
