Jesse James Barckley, age 24, of Warsaw, MO, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. Jesse was born on January 11, 2002, in Independence, MO.
He moved with his family to Warsaw and graduated from Warsaw High School in May of 2020. While living in Warsaw he was very active in the Boy Scouts Troup 34. Jesse obtained the rank of Eagle Scout, an honor that he was very proud of.
He enlisted into the United States Air Force on March 3, 2021 and served his country honorably being discharged on August 2, 2025. Jesse enjoyed staying active and keeping up with his many hobbies including, rock-climbing, drawing, sight-seeing, playing his guitar, riding his motorcycle and loved being outdoors. He loved expanding his knowledge as well as practicing his multitude of skills. He sought the most out of life and lived it to the fullest.
Jesse was fun loving, thoughtful, selfless and always willing to lend a helping hand. He always looked to brighten one’s smile and share a laugh.
Jesse was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald Story ad Penny Barckley of Warsaw.
He is survived by his parents, Jye and Carla Barckley of Warsaw, two brothers, Hunter Jewell and Wyatt Barckley, his girl friend Gracie Johnson, other relatives and many friends.
Cremation is under the care and direction of the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw, MO. Services will be held at a later date.
