Jesse J. Case

Jesse James Case, age 39, of Edwards, Missouri passed away January 15, 2025 at his home. He was born on January 5, 1986 in Clay County, Missouri, the son of James Fredrick Case and Tammy Ann Dickerson.

Jesse grew up in the North Kansas City area and attended Liberty High School in Liberty, Missouri. From the age of 15 until he was 21, he worked at Waffle House.

In 2011, he moved to Edwards, Missouri, where he worked for Anglers Port Marine before discovering his true passion for well drilling, working alongside his stepfather and close friend, Mike Barnes.

Jesse loved camping in the motor home, floating the river, and getting out on the pontoon with family and friends. He was also an avid Chiefs fan but his most enjoyable time was that which he spent with his daughters. He loved picking them up from school, playing with them at the park, and making a special stop at Dairy Queen to complete their outings.

Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Jim Case, and his grandparents, Phillip and Darlene Dickerson.

He is survived by his mother, Tammy Barnes (Mike), of Edwards, Missouri, his daughters, Laceigh and Annistyn, two brothers, Levi Dickerson (Rachele), of Overland Park, Kansas, his twin Joshua Case, of Sedalia, Missouri, two stepsisters, Mandi Lewis (Tommy), of St. Louis, Missouri and Sandra Barnes, of Charlotte, North Carolina.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Reser Funeral Home, Warsaw. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M.
